Data collected and purpose
This website only collects the data strictly necessary for it to work and for the services requested by the user, as described below.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, message) is used only to reply to your request and is sent by email to the restaurant — it is not stored in a database. Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
IP address — anti-spam protection
To prevent repeated, automated submissions of the contact form, the IP address of whoever sends the message is processed in an anonymised form (hash) for a short period, solely to limit the number of allowed requests. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller in the security of the service (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Google Fonts
This website uses some typefaces (fonts) provided by Google through Google's own servers (Google Fonts). When you visit a page, your browser downloads these fonts directly from Google's servers, which involves transmitting your device's IP address to Google. The controller for this part of the processing is Google Ireland Limited (for users in the European Economic Area). More information is available in Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
This website does not use profiling or statistical analytics cookies. Only one technical cookie is set, necessary for the contact form to work correctly (protection against fraudulent submissions via a CSRF token), which does not require consent as it is strictly necessary for the requested functionality. Should the site introduce statistical analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) or other non-technical cookies in the future, this notice will be updated and prior consent will be requested through a dedicated banner.
Transfer of data outside the EU
The only processing that involves a transfer of data (the IP address) to a non-EU country is the one described under "Google Fonts" above, relating to Google's servers.
Data retention
Data sent through the contact form is kept in the restaurant's email inbox for as long as necessary to handle the request and, where necessary, to comply with legal obligations. The IP address used for anti-spam purposes is kept only for a few seconds, the time needed to check the allowed request limit.
Data subject rights
At any time you can ask the controller for access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability (Art. 15-22 GDPR). Requests can be sent to info@ristorantinodapep.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated over time, for example if new services are introduced on the site (such as statistical analytics tools). The last update date is shown at the top of the page.
